Supporting a family member is never easy.  We understand how difficult it is for families.  Our experienced service provides factsheets and regular updates to family members.

Yes, we are equipped to deal with different sources of funding, and we're able to support individual and varying levels of budgets.

We recommend that they do, wherever this is possible. We will carry out an assessment based on each individual’s needs, taking into account their well-being and wishes. Supported by you, it is their decision to choose their new home, and we will discuss any choices with you all at every stage of the way.

Yes because this promotes structure and safety based in risk assessments.

Yes of course. We know it's really important to get a feel for a new home before making the decision. We'll be happy to arrange a visit so that you can have a look around, meet potential new neighbours, and explore the local area.

Yes, once your loved one is moved in, friends and family are welcome to visit at any time, subject to government guidelines eg COVID Safety. If you wish to speak to a member of the management team when visiting, it is advisable to let us know beforehand so they can be available.

Most of our houses have a staff member on site at all times and there will always be someone you or your loved one can contact.

We’ll talk to you if this happens. The social worker will continually assess and review each person’s needs as we also do. Each tenant will be supported by our team and family members to keep the social worker updated with any significant changes or concerns to ensure we are providing the correct level of support. Where possible our aim is always to help each person to greater independence which might require additional, dedicated 121 support.

Yes, we encourage people to bring their personal possessions, including photos and artwork to hang on the walls, to make the space their own.

Absolutely. The people we support choose how they live their lives and how they spend their time. And we do everything we can to help those with complex needs to lead independent, fulfilling and happy lives.
