Internal quality monitoring
Our quality management team are hands on to assess and examine 24 hours (including waking night) quality of support. Managers look at how well support is planned and delivered and include observation and consultation with people we support, their families and staff. All managers and staff are familiar with needs of people and changes. This means we can provide support and advice with our continuous improvement commitment.
Values
Our support service is based on strong foundations. We have robust policies and procedures and provide comprehensive training to better support people. Our values underpin what we do and help us to be the best we can be:
- We are attentive
We care about tenants and advocate and encourage for what is right per tenant’s own choices.
- We respect
We are transparent and value people for who they are with no judgement.
- We listen as a team player
We listen, we co produce new systems and plans together and we continue to improve. It is a team effort.
- We lead
We are skilled at what we do and prompt and encourage tenants to achieve their heart’s desires – living their best lives.
Founding History
DPR Housing Limited, Landlord and Lead provider in supported living Services, started off as a support services to tenants with 24 hours staffed supported living housing (waking night) for older people with complex needs, since 2012. This then grew to supported living services, for people with high supported living needs. DPR Housing Limited is registered at Companies House No: 11787954. It’s registered office is 56 Kingsfield Road, Watford, Herts, WD19 4TR. We work with our sister company, Dementia Partners Limited for all support services provided in our supported living service.
DPR Housing as a small provider is attentive to people with high support needs. This is possible because smaller organisations operate differently to large organisations.
Flexibility – Our small service has the ability to react quickly to changes in the marketplace. There is no hierarchy in place that slows down the decision-making process.
Team Spirit – When staff are closely supported by hands on, well-led managers, this improves good communication to ensure needs of tenants are met.
Indoor and Outdoor Community Involvement – Indoors, tenants join daily group activities offered for 2 hours a day with regular daily meditation. Activities fosters a caring, community spirit between tenants. Tenants are actively involved in the wider community eg, group trips to Christmas Carols, Blackpool seaside in Summer, London Community Kitchen, Harrow – Plant to Plate courses outdoors etc.
Client Interaction. Every tenant is important to our small organisation. Big providers do not necessarily get to know their customers. All our staff from Managers, activities staff, 24 hour (waking night), 121 staff to keyworker staff know the fast -paced changing wishes and needs of each tenant.
